Return to an earlier conversation
When an earlier conversation is missing, first check the account and character you have opened. A new version of a character is not necessarily the same conversation you used before.

Check the account before clearing anything
Compare the sign-in method and account identity with the device where you last used the conversation. Signing in through another provider can leave you looking at a different account.
If the earlier conversation is still visible on another device, record the character's name and identifier. Keep that session intact while checking the account on the other device.
Find the same character version
Creators can use the same display name for different scenarios. Compare the profile, creator, and character link rather than searching only by name.
Read any confirmation carefully before restarting or deleting a conversation. A fresh opening is not a way to recover a missing thread.
Send us the details that narrow it down
If the conversation still does not appear, include the account details, character link, approximate time of your last access, and whether it remains visible on another device. Do not post private conversation screenshots in a public channel.

Does importing a character bring over old chats?
A character profile and a conversation history are different data. Importing a card does not automatically transfer conversations from another service.
