Find a setting for your next story
Some conversations start with a person; others start with a world you want to step into. Our series collections bring together film, music, and event-inspired settings for fictional character stories.

Choose the moment, not just the title
A rehearsal, an awards-night conversation, and a quiet scene after a festival create different reasons for characters to talk. Decide what has just happened and why your character is involved.
Creator-written versions can use an alternate timeline or a new relationship. The title of a series does not establish every detail of an individual character's scenario, so read the introduction before choosing your role.
Keep the cast easy to follow
When a scene includes several people, address the character you want to answer. Introduce another speaker when they have something specific to contribute rather than asking the entire cast to react at once.
For an original story, borrow the format of a rehearsal or an imagined interview without borrowing a real person's identity. Our creation tools let you write the background, greeting, and dialogue style for that cast.
