Find a character you want to talk to

Search by name, then check the introduction

Use a character's name when you know who you are looking for. Add a distinctive word from the introduction when several characters share a name.

A portrait and title only show part of the setup. Read the introduction to check the character's role, the situation, and who you are expected to play.

Choose a setting and a personality

Our categories include Anime, OC, Game, Fantasy, and Movies & TV. Personality tags add another layer: a Gentle character and a Sharp-tongued character may share the same setting but speak very differently.

Creator-written versions can use different timelines, relationships, or alternate universes. Use the profile's description as the starting point for that version.

Create the character you have in mind

If you want a specific background or opening scene, write your own character. You can choose an avatar, add a greeting and dialogue examples, and decide whether the character is public or private.
