Choose the relationship you want to explore
Some stories begin with two characters meeting; others start with an established relationship or a disagreement. A shared genre label does not make those setups interchangeable.
Check personality tags as well as the category. A reserved character and a talkative character can make the same scene feel very different.
Keep the roles clear
State who you are playing and how your character knows the other person. If a scene includes several characters, address the one you want to answer.
You can ask for a slow pace, a dialogue-focused exchange, or an everyday setting. Describe your own character's choices and leave room for the other character to respond.
Write an original adult cast
For a story of your own, create adult characters with interests, obligations, and a reason to meet. Use the greeting to begin a specific moment instead of listing the entire relationship history.
