Give the first reply something to work with
A short, specific opening is usually enough: where you are, who you are playing, and what has just happened. For example: I'm the new archivist. I found a sealed letter in the wrong collection, and I need your help reading it.
Read the character's existing greeting first. A reply that fits that situation gives the story a clearer starting point than an unrelated request.
Keep the next turn clear
Answer the character, describe your own action, and leave space for a response. If a detail is wrong, correct that detail directly before continuing.
Our characters generate fictional responses. A character can play a historian, detective, or doctor without being a reliable source of factual or professional advice.
Account and feature access
Browsing, account access, model selection, and paid actions are different parts of the experience. Sign in with the account you want to keep using before relying on saved conversations or purchased benefits.
Questions
Am I talking to a real person?
No. Character replies are generated by AI. A creator writes the character's profile, but does not become the person replying in your chat.
Can I use PolyBuzz in a browser?
Yes. Our web version works in a browser on desktop and mobile devices.
